ASK, BELIEVE AND RECEIVE – Living a Life of Peace, Joy and Abundance
Ask, Believe and Receive
This is the formula that everyone seems to be looking for. Ask, Believe, Receive is the magic formula to peace, joy and abundance. I want to share my clients’ experience of asking, believing and receiving.
He called me several weeks ago sounding despondent. I felt his pain so deeply that I made the exception to meet him on a Saturday, which was the following day.
Through our weekly meetings I saw that he was changing. He was becoming more confident and more self-accepting. He was able to make sense of this simple philosophy of ask, believe, receive.
Attitude is Everything
His attitude in therapy was like a sponge. Always ready to hear new things and willing to explore the possibilities that there are other ways to be in this world. Whatever I talked about, he listened with full attention. He always left session ready to do the work or read a book that I recommended. He was ready and willing to learn how to Ask, Believe, Receive. Needless to say, he has grown so much in such little time.
Once I saw that he was ready and open, I started talking about the Universe, God or as some call it, Source. I explained how the universe works. It is waiting for us to believe, to be clear and ask for what we want so It can conspire to bring to us what is for our highest good. All we need to do is Ask,Believe, Receive.
I spoke about our loved ones who have passed and continue to be around us in spirit and about Angels who are waiting for us to ask for their help. On his own, he decided to buy a book on Angels. He told me he is learning so much and is resonating with this new information.
His experience is below:
He was shopping with his wife. Got home and did not want to get out of the car as it was raining very hard. He knew he was feeling angry, which is something that he struggles with. He remembered our conversations and asked his angels to change his mood.
As he was about to open his door, he checked his mirrors, saw nothing, and opened it. At that precise moment, a woman appeared out of nowhere on her bicycle. She crashed into his door so hard it shattered his window. He was stunned. He never saw this coming. He was so concerned for her well being that he kept asking if she was ok. He told me all she received in that accident were two small scratches.
He told me this woman was in her mid fifties, but her skin was extraordinarily smooth and had no blemishes what so ever and her face was completely dry. This was odd for him as the rain was so heavy that he did not want to leave the comfort of his car. As he was asking her if she was OK, she said to him, “You are a very kind man. Are you Christian?” To which he answered, “I don’t know what I am”.
He told me her eyes were the most loving and compassionate eyes he has ever seen in his life. He felt the whole event was surreal and knew something was very different. And, his anger completely disappeared.
I believe that as he asked his angels to change his mood, they brought to him an angel in human form to answer his prayer and to confirm to him that they are in fact listening and waiting for his requests for help.
Life can be difficult here on earth. Many people feel so alone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Even if you have no relatives or friends in your life, you are not alone.
We must learn to ask, believe, receive. If everyone believed and connected to their Angels, the Universe or God, their lives would be filled with miracles, joy and peace, no matter how difficult life may seem.
