You Attract What You Believe You Are
Are you searching for that special person in your life? One that will make you feel like a million bucks? You know that one; the person who brings such love, joy and laughter into your life that it makes you feel on top of the world? Sure you are. We all are hoping to attract that perfect mate. Some of us even write down all the qualities that we hope to attract in a person and believe that if we think about it long enough we can make that attraction happen. So how does the Law of Attraction help us attract that particular person into your life?
Reality is, even though we all want this, some of us end up attracting quite the opposite. Some of us attract that special someone who at first makes us feel on top of the world but then shortly afterwards, they start to show their true colours. They eventually start to ridicule or berate us or perhaps remind us how unworthy we really are as humans. If you understand the Law of Attraction, this does not have to happen!
Human behaviour can be studied through patterns. We all know someone who consistently attracts relationships that are abusive. Or that friend who seems to always have bad luck attracting the ‘cheating’ person.
The truth is, we attract what we BELIEVE we are. The Law of Attraction works like this: If we believe we are smart, everything in our lives reflects it. People will acknowledge our intelligence, our careers will as well. If we believe we are unworthy of happiness, the universe will bring to us experiences to become congruent with our beliefs, even if we are unaware of them. The Universe wants us to have all that we want. But it also thinks that what we BELIEVE is the same thing as what we WANT. So, in effect, the Universe understands our beliefs, as they hold the highest energy, are the same as what we want.
How to attract what we want?
The Law of Attraction explains the first thing we must do is go within and discover what we truly believe about ourselves. We need to reflect on our patterns throughout our lifetime and inquire as to what beliefs surround them. We can do this around every part of our lives starting from health, finances, relationships and so on.
The second thing is we must decide if these beliefs are working for or against us. If against us, then we have the option to change them. This takes clarity of what we want in life and through affirmations, visualizations and positive thoughts and language to start believing that we truly deserve. The Law of attraction states we can attract all that we want (which in realty becomes our beliefs of what we are).
The key point while visualizing what we want; imagine that we already have it. See it and Feel it! Our emotions are energy that along with thoughts and words, are the catalyst to create action.
